Location:

Round Rock ISD Aquatic Center

• 2801 Gattis School Rd, Round Rock, TX - 78664 (Cedar Ridge high school campus)

Parking:

• Please review satellite image using the map above for the various parking lots located around the school.

Pool:

• The pool is completely covered and “naturally ventilated” (not air conditioned) with garage type doors running along both sides of the pool. There are grass fields outside for tents.

Timeline:

This will be a single meet with 2 sessions.

• 9:45am - Facility opens for athletes
• Session 1: 8 & Under
• Warm-up 8&u - 10:00am
• 8&u session start - 10:35am
• 8&u awards - 1:15pm (estimated)
• Session 2: 9 & Over
• Warm-up 9&o: 2:00pm
• 9&o session start: 2:35pm
• 9&o awards: 5:50pm (estimate)
• 6:00pm - Team Awards

Eligibility:

To be eligible for participation, swimmers must adhere to the AHSL eligibility rules. Swimmers are required to compete in age groups determined by their age as of May 1st. Additionally, swimmers must be affiliated with a team from the Austin Hills Swim League for the current swim season and must have achieved valid times in official AHSL dual or tri meets (no NTs). Times from Intrasquad meets or time trials will not be considered for qualification purposes. In addition to having valid times, swimmers must have participated (“splashed”) in a minimum of two official meets during the current season to be eligible for competition. Rained out official meets, if applicable, will count as a “splash”.

Food / Concessions:

• Top Taco Food Trailer - 10:00am - 1:00pm (may stay longer)
• Breakfast tacos, steak, chicken, veggie, and drinks
• Craig-Os Pizza - 11:00am - 5:00pm
• Pizza & Drinks
• Kona Ice
• The league will have cooler(s) with water bottles for sale.

Volunteers: 

• Each team will be expected to fulfill “League Designated roles” as well as “team specific roles”. Details to follow from our wonderful Volunteer Coordinators!

Restricted Areas: 

• Parents will have a dedicated seating and tent area 
• Athletes will have a dedicated area. There is an Athletes ONLY restroom. Younger athletes that need help should use the regular restroom. 
• Only on duty timers, officials, and coaches on the ends and sides of the pool..

Thank you!! This is our first combined all athletes invited medal & championship meet for the Austin Hills Swim League. Feedback will be collected at the end of the season to decide how to improve going forward.
